How rechargeable sound amplifiers work
Each amplifier contains a built-in rechargeable battery. Depending on the model, charging is handled through a case, magnetic contacts or a cable. The product page will show the quoted battery life and approximate charging time for each model.
What to compare before you buy
Battery life
Think about how often you would like to charge the product. FlexiCare models currently range from around 20 hours to as much as 48 hours of quoted use per charge.
Charging style
A charging case can be useful because it gives both amplifiers a safe place to stay between uses. Magnetic charging can also make it easier to line the product up correctly.
Controls
Some models use touch controls, while others use a physical volume wheel or buttons. Choose the style that feels most natural to you.
In-ear or behind-ear
In-ear models are compact and earbud-like. Behind-ear models place the main body behind the ear and generally offer larger physical controls.
